Book Of Spells




Just made this a few days ago. I had so much fun making it! 
These instructions are free! I hope you enjoy making this project.

                Supplies needed: 
                         • An old book (about 8.5x11 with a 2" spine)
                         • Spray adhesive
                         • Black paint, brown paint or glaze
                         • Hot glue
                         • Burlap (measurements on step 5)
                         • Accents

    I love this idea!! I was wondering where I could find the glaze instructions and the template for the latch? I know you said it's on your blog but I can't find it?? You're so creative! I am grateful you share your talents with others!!

    Love your two spell books. I sent you the money paypal for the downloads but havent been able to retrieve them. Any help would be greatly appreciated trying to finish my books before Halloween. Thank you for sharing your wonderful ideas.

      The template for the latch is now available. It is between the instructions 10 and 11. For the glaze instructions, you can just mix black colorant with a Neutral Base Latex Paint. Most paint store will tint your glaze for you if you ask. Then you don't have to buy the colorant for $10 which you only need a small amount of anyway.
